Ter Winterbeke

Perfect! Positive: This was the most beautiful and well-equipped place we have ever stayed in. The hosts were very friendly and greeted us personally to show us around the property. The style of the barn conversion is exquisite, with stunning decor and hand-made pieces of carpentry everywhere. The setting was peaceful and perfectly located to explore nearby Ypres, Poperinghe and even go on day trips to Bruges and Ghent (both 1 hour drives). The dogs and horses were friendly and the children liked them. The house felt spacious and was quite cool in the bedrooms, even in the heat. There are plenty of options for sitting outdoors and everyone had their own space. It is excellent for families and everything we needed was provided. There is even a baby-carrier for day-trips out and full packet of coffee beans! We could ask the owners questions very easily because they live in a different house on site. A wonderful place in a wonderful region and we plan to return.
